Forest School

At Highfield nursery school we know the value of Forest School- how it develops confidence in children, improves communication and team work, encourages creativity and boosts self-esteem. And it’s great fun!

We are very fortunate to have our own Forest School designated area on site. The children attend forest school/fun sessions weekly, discovering nature, exploring the wild and developing a love of the natural environment which stays with them into adulthood.

Whether they’re climbing trees, building dens, hunting for bugs or planting seeds, forest school/fun is an adventure the children enjoy week after week.
